Overview

As a result of the unprecedented rate of human-induced climate change, there is now widespread consensus on the need for adaptation efforts to contend with current and anticipated harm associated with climate impacts on people and ecosystems. While mitigation activities help curb greenhouse gas emissions, adaptation efforts bolster the resilience of human-built and natural environments. In this paper, WRR Research Director Kelly Levin lays out the questions that this edition of the World Resources Report is exploring and lays out the research approach being used to tackle them.
