Dr. Bindu Lohani is the Vice-President of Finance and Administration of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Manila, Philippines.

Prior to this, he was the Director General of the ADB's Regional and Sustainable Development Department (responsible for sectoral and thematic areas like energy, water, environment and governance) and the ADB's Chief Compliance Officer and Special Advisor to the President on Clean Energy and Environment. He also worked in Infrastructure and Environment Departments at ADB. Before joining the ADB, Dr. Lohani worked at the Government of Nepal and at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT).

Dr. Lohani holds a Doctorate degree in Engineering.

Dr. Lohani is an elected member of the National Academy of Engineering of United States, and is, a diplomate of the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science Council.
